northern dialect
It is interesting to note that the Northern Middle English dialect is a continuation of the Northumbrian variant of Old English. The North had great influence by Scandinavian. This influence led scholars to believe that because of the influence of the Scandinavians, Northern Middle English developed rapidly through inflectional system and its innovative syntax. What makes the Northern dialect different is the decay of inflections.
